From what my assistant manager was saying, the volume buttons are either disabled or covered by the housing unit. He put it together on my day off.

My parents pre-ordered the Vita for me as a Christmas gift. I'm so excited. I might have to go to Game Stop to test one out... or will that ruin it for me when I finally get to open mine?!

Hm I wonder how long that trade-in offer lasts for, because I don't use my psp anyway. The Vita will still be able to play PSP games, right?

The offer ends on the 6th of February. It's not really that great of a deal unfortunately because they don't really give you much for the PSP in the first place (according to a forum I frequent they give $20 for the 1000, $20 for the 2000, and $30 for the 3000), but since you don't use yours at all and you plan on using the Vita then it might be a good idea for you.

Unless they changed it on my day off, those rates are a lot lower than what I remember. I can check it when I get back to my store.

I'm waiting for the revision. None of the launch games and upcoming games for Vita are convincing me to get it (except for Katamari but I would never buy a whole new system just for it).
