I guess everyone has probably heard that old saying, that death comes in threes, right? Has anyone ever experienced this, in one way or another? I thought I'd just share my story about it.
Oh wow, that's fascinating. The shooting stars part made me gasp haha! Very cool that you experienced something like this. But I'm sorry for the passing's :(
Whoa. That's eerie, but in a touching way. And I really hope these were different cousins.
I've never dreamed of anyone while they were near death, but my Granny dreamed of her mother just a few days before her own death. My mom likes to think she was beckoning her on or something. I think both my aunt and my mom dreamed of my Granny after she died as well. Nothing like yours though, but my mom has never been good at recalling her dreams.
I've never had a personal death in threes experience myself. That sounds really painful to go through, just knowing what losing one at a time is like.
I've had one that was similar. My mother had a cat that she had raised from the time she was sixteen until I was nine years old. Eventually he got very old and very sick, and we had to put him to sleep.
A week later, my father was killed in a car accident.
In early December of 2005, one of my brother's good friends was shot (and died) at a house party. About a week later, this guy that I'd known since kindergarten passed away (cancer). Then, on Dec. 16th a close friend of mine(who I had also known since kindergarten) passed away(also cancer).
I've never had dreams of anybody near death... but one evening I just got the feeling that something was utterly and completely WRONG. I was just so upset for no reason. It had been a good day, and I hadn't been worrying about anything, so it was weird. Then three days later, my mom calls me and says my paternal grandmother had passed away earlier that morning. She had gotten sick a few days before, was admitted to the hospital, and died in her sleep. (which I wasn't aware she was sick in the first place because my biological father is kinda an a-hole and doesn't deem it necessary to tell me about important things like that)
So, yeah, I've noticed that it does tend to come in threes. :(
