God please, no! The first season was amazing and everything I'd hoped for. I think they did exactly what they needed to do and it seemed like a plausible prequel. I didn't even mind the theme song (I still know it by heart) and I loved the opening montage. The second season is where they forever lost my favor and I quit before they even got halfway through it. It was terrible. So, so terrible. And that series finale. WHAT WAS THAT? Although by that point, I hated Trip anyway so I wasn't too pressed about it. It was so random though idek. Also, I feel like they somehow managed to portray an ENTIRE species completely OOC (the Vulcans

Yeah, I can't see it happening either. I felt much the same as you about Enterprise, and honestly, I don't think it's the kind of thing where people were devastated that it was killed off before its time.
I got the impression that a lot of people were like, "Well thank god that's over," more than anything. :x
If the show had aired back when TNG aired, they might have been able to get away with a few shaky seasons before righting the ship. They didn't have that kind of time or the patience of the networks or fans in the 2000s though.
The issues with Vulcans, Jesus. Just when I remember the whole debacle with Archer carrying the katra of Surak, the young T'Pau, the ambassador admitting Vulcans keep the humans on the leash because they are actually jealous and afraid of human superiority to Vulcans (arguably the worst SF troupe - humans being secretly superior to every other species in some way). T'Pol in general, T'Pol getting off on emotions, T'Pol going into heat, T'Pol getting HIV. The whole debacle about underground addict mind melders and mind HIV. Vulcans vs Romulans/ Vulcans vs Andorians. The state of the Vulcan society in general

Too many people hated Enterprise for it to happen, but oh god would it make my life for it to happen. MY LIFE. Especially if they kept those season 4 writers and kept Bermaga faaaaaar far away from the scripts like they did.
I love Scott Bakula, loved Quantum Leap, and was so excited for this show. Ended up disliking it intensely. Hated T'Pol and her snobbery, skin tight uniform and enormous fake boobs on her thin body; hated the relationship between her and Trip; hated the Vulcan/Human dynamic of mutual suspicion and mistrust; hated that the further you got into the series the more you had to watch each and every episode, in order, if you were to have any hope of knowing what was going on. I did like Dr. Phlox, loved Hoshi Sato and thought she was so under-used. And I loved that Archer brought his dog with him. Seemed reasonable to me if you were going to be in space for a load of time you'd bring a pet with you.
If any Trek was to come to the small screen again, rather than rehashing an older series I'd like to see something else. I know I have a Pike fixation but would think it'd be interesting to see a show focusing on him.
