The issues with Vulcans, Jesus. Just when I remember the whole debacle with Archer carrying the katra of Surak, the young T'Pau, the ambassador admitting Vulcans keep the humans on the leash because they are actually jealous and afraid of human superiority to Vulcans (arguably the worst SF troupe - humans being secretly superior to every other species in some way). T'Pol in general, T'Pol getting off on emotions, T'Pol going into heat, T'Pol getting HIV. The whole debacle about underground addict mind melders and mind HIV. Vulcans vs Romulans/ Vulcans vs Andorians. The state of the Vulcan society in general.

I forgot a great deal about the Enterprise, thank God, but I do remember liking one episode when Archer meddled in some planet's health issues, against the advice of all other species that passed by and heard the cry for help, only to discover he was about to play God and meddle with other's evolution and then Phlox forcing him to go down on the planet and deal with the consequences of his own mess by himself.

Come to think of it, I have much appreciation for every single doctor in every single version of ST, with Holodoc & Bones and Bashir leading the top list.

I knew people in other corners of the Internet who RAVED about that Vulcan trilogy in S4 you described, but I never really cared for it. I liked the one with Brent Spiner, though the acting of the Augment actors was HORRIBLE. I didn't ever really gel with T'Pol anyway. I kinda took a dislike to her from the get go because she was a Vulcan on a starship of humans as their science officer. The analogy with Spock wasn't exactly subtle. XD

And the ep you liked was Dear Doctor. :-)
