Ugh, yup...giving us something we want while taking away something else we want. Something show is very good at. But still, I do like the idea of Sam puzzling out a case at the same time Dean is. And if it's done well, it'll be very pretty to look at.
I've decided that no matter what happens in this episode (literally everyone could die at the end), I will be completely happy. I'll watch it on mute if I have to, IDGAF.

So I guess Sam is trying to solve the case in the present that Dean is trying to solve in the '40s, and he's also trying to bring Dean back?
