Also, let me flail so hard at the era-appropriate theme and the editing and it's like, wow. For once, they did a good thing with a promo. And the episode looks so asdjklajklsdnkcsjklwer from a purely genre-nerd POV.

This trailer makes me muchmroe excited about this episode than I was before. researcher!Sam in a sleeping bag (or so it looks to me, at least) might have something to do with it.
