I'm trying to make myself believe that he means "not good enough" as in the sense that he can still improve, which is true, but it's still like a knife in the heart for me whenever the words "not good enough" show up. Too close to my own insecurities.

Oh, Team Japan. ;_____; I want Oda to win everything for his baby, but I want Daisuke to get his fierceness back, and I want Taka to get the recognition he deserves, plus there are all the non-Japanese skaters I want to do really well... I'm going to be a wreck come Worlds.
I wanted Oda to win this for his bb and also to become first Japanese man to win GPF...but I guess it'll have to wait another year. I'm excited for Nats and that combined with dread for Worlds ;__;
