There are four separate soundtracks, so plenty of pieces to pick from, with a nice variety ranging from quiet to dramatic to passionate to playful, so lots of different tempos to use. My dream program would be:
"Title Theme," until about 1:14.

I love the polonaise from EO (program opener, perhaps?) but I think the waltz is magical and builds perfectly at the end. I seriously think Eugene Onegin is a perfect Sochi program waiting to happen. It's absurdly underused in skating (or never-used at the worlds level, maybe?), but it's Tchaikovsky, opera, and the everybody in Russia knows the story. IA I think Meryl/Charlie could do it really well, but it's a bit DF-ish (which could be good or bad depending on who is criticizing) and I really want it to be done by Russians. It's so easy to imagine it as a dance FD, but I think it's more perfect for mens. It could be the perfect OGM vehicle for Plushy, with choreography ( ... )
