'...Of course, some of the other skaters are going to be working really hard to somewhat be at my level'

Oh, PChan, why do you have to open your mouth sometimes?

I know...it's one of the most arrogant things I've ever heard a skater say to the media.

He could have said, I'm just focusing on challenging myself and doing my best, and left it at that.

I really dislike his coach because I feel like she encourages this behavior

Why does he open his mouth ever? He seems to be incapable of talking about skating without being rude and/or incredibly arrogant.

some of the other skaters are going to be working really hard to somewhat be at my level and I don't doubt that there will be.

Level of Arrogance? Oh, PChan, never change :).

"[The Vancouver Games] wasn't what he wanted by any means of the imagination," Krall said. "What he dreamt wasn't his reality. But he didn't train to be ready to have a great reality and I don't think he knew it at that point in time...
This is one very convoluted / Matrix-y way to say "He was lazy before the Olys".

The best thing for him was understand what makes a champion. And had he somehow fluked into a medal, he would never have come back and put his heart and soul into retraining
ARRRRGGG. If he loves the sport, having a medal or none wouldn't have changed a thing.

Ugh, okay. I don't know anything about Tiger Woods, but the thing about Roger Federer is that he gets along and really respects his main rival. I'm sure Federer's also put his foot in his mouth a few times about being the greatest this or that, but he usually acknowledges that when he was beat by Nadal or Djokovic, he was beat by a good shot. It takes more than just being a medalist to be a champion, PChan.

Lol he hates Djokovic with a passion but the hatred is masked by his classiness, there's a difference.

Love Pchan to death but he is dumb as rocks and should STFU

LOL, I am the MOST CASUAL of tennis fans. And I really just heart Nadal and Federer! I didn't know that about Djokovic. But like you said classiness. I just can't with Pchan, I just can't. That thing he said about Daisuke's skate malfunction at worlds- it was the end for me. :/

Patrick, why you gotta make it impossible for me to like you? You have very nice qualities, but you are one arrogant mofo, and you should just stop talking and let your skating speak for itself.

Of course there are maybe ~five other skaters who are going to be training hard to *~challenge him~* UGH.

If there is a just God ruling Skate Canada the universe, it won't be repeat of last year. But who am I kidding?
