Even though it's risky to ever agree with Frank, I'm inclined to agree with what Frank said a few months ago; something like 'Of course he'll do it because once he's made up his mind this much to do it, he goes through with it'. So, while I'm more nervous now about a withdrawal from Evan, I think it's probably a safe bet to say we'll see him at Skate America. Probably.
I'm glad he's expanding too -- he'll be ready to match the competition from the other men who didn't take the season off.

Do not use a piece of terminology like "permutations" when you obviously do not know it means. Please.

However, I see that the writer had certainly no problem playing little tricks of connotation with words like "belittle" (instead of the more neutral "criticize", say).
But then again, I clicked on the link and saw it was Mr. Hersh, so I suppose belittle would be a word whose meaning is more familiar to him.
