Oh, Evan.

From April 2010 (http://indianapolis.metromix.com/events/article/q-and-a-with/1911540/content):

Silver medalist Evgeni Plushenko was pretty vocal in saying he felt you shouldn’t have won the gold medal because you didn’t have a quadruple jump. What are your thoughts on this, a few months looking back?

I couldn’t do anything but be honest. I do respect him and I can’t think of a bad thing to say about him. The judging system that’s in play now couldn’t be manipulated. I’m sure he was upset about not winning, and after the fact, now I’m sure he’s extremely proud of his silver medal.

From September 2011:

He is tweaking programs to figure out what mathematical permutations certain elements will give him.

Well, at least now he's being honest.

Yeah at romanshoes said, it's coming from two different sides. The first quote is about judges not manipulating the system (which, LOL, delusional). The second is just what skaters do UNDER the system. Gotta get them points!

Ah, got it. Thx for clarifying.

LOL to both quotes still. I see a future where PChan and Evan battle it out in the ultimate points combo challenge.

BRO, MAKE A DAMNED DECISION ALREADY.

I, for one, will be happy either way. I think his competing make a crazy season even more interesting. His retirement might be what's best for him.

OMG JUST DECIDE THO. LOL I BET FRANK WANTS TO THROW THINGS AT YOUR HEAD BY NOW.

This article is just an example of how mediocre skaters grow up and become masterful spinners. :P
