This Sunday we came back from Italy, where we took part in a tournament to qualify for the Worlds championship.

1st place at the Russian Championships does not guarantee a place at Worlds?

Thanks for translating. It looks like a beautiful view from their lodge up in the mountains with the snow! It's too bad the rink was empty- it looks like an ideal place to visit for a figure skating competition, as you can ski and enjoy the views, too.
