Probably because she's a hippo-crates. And as far as McCain goes, what does he really expect Obama to do? Send in the troops? Bomb the Syrians and Iranians flat so they can't persecute anyone anymore? I mean, really. What do you expect us to do? I think people are already sick and tired of "intervention" in this country, whether well-intentioned or not.

For the first time in a half-century, the Democrats have a stronger image on national security than the Republicans do.

I think this is the real reason why. Republicans can't seriously attack Obama on national security because he's largely avoided any serious mis-steps, so they're going to throw shit at him. Look at what Clint Eastwood tried doing last night, saying that Obama should have asked the Russians how their war in Afghanistan went.

Also, how can anyone claim Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan are going to be any better on foreign policy? AFAIK, neither of them have any experience when it comes to foreign policy. Mitt Romney's foreign tour last month was one fucking embarrassment after another. Does Paul Ryan even have foreign policy experience? I thought it was slim to none.

Why on earth can she continue to support these people when they are making racist jokes left and right, are totally okay with her being raped and being forced to carry a child, and want to prevent her from ever getting married to her (not entirely secret) S.O.?

Why Condi?

All I got is what she said back in 2000. That 60 years ago, the southern Democrats, back before all the racists jumped ship, wouldn't let her father vote.

Not to mention how hypocritical it is for them to critcise Obama when many refer to him as 'Bush on steroids' when it comes to his foreign policy. Obama has continued most of Bush's programs. So any criticism is rich coming from them.

Not only that, and even Romney's circle has said, nobody cares about foreign policy. All the polls that have been conducted prove it. Unless Obama nukes someplace, this election is not going to be won, or lost on what happens in some third world country. So why should they even bother?

They bothered because they desperately needed a non-white face up there. She's the token black person. But no, they don't care about foreign policy, and other than Condie, they are desperately trying to back away from Bush's legacy.

Yep, they needed a non-white face all right. And besides, she's a twofer: black AND female. So now all POC and women are going to want to vote for Mittens: because a black woman gave a speech at the convention.

If I could roll my eyes as far as I feel like rolling them, I'd be looking at the nape of my neck from the inside right now.

Because he got rid of a fear mongering tool. They loved using Bin Laden to fear monger but President Obama took him out. Had he not done that, you can bet President Obama failing to get Bin Laden would have been a huge part of their convention.

They're not angry because they lose a fear-mongering tool, but rather because a Democrat was the one that killed him. If it had been under Bush's watch? They'd still be talking about it even now.

Bush never wanted to get him. Bush said that he didn't really think about getting Bin Laden. Bush and his cronies also had chances to get him and didn't because he was a fear mongering tool when it was convenient.
