I don't think children should be used to satisfy the lifestyle choices of the hate filled religious right, because I think the way they raise their children is emotional abuse. Does that mean I can ban them from having kids?

If the birth-mother does not want to take on the role in this child's life, considering she was willing to give up her recognition on the birth certificate - well, what has he to say to that? It's not like she can be forced to be the child's mum, if there are two people willing to step into the shoes of parents.

If that baby is loved and treasured, surely that's all that matters. There's nothing selfish about wanting to be a mum or a dad. Anyway, what would this guy say to widowed fathers/mothers who were bringing up a child alone?
