They're damn lucky she didn't end up dead, or beaten up, at the least.

Idiots. FUCKING IDIOTS.
They could have put out her name & photo without the medical condition, or could have said she was in danger from a medical condition without disclosing the HIV.

But would they have cared if she had been? Personally, I doubt it. I don't understand how no one is helping this girl.

I liked that statement. It made it clear, to me at least, that the girl might very well have been assaulted sexually, or at the very least, taken advantage of when she was not in a fit state to consent. And/or, that often men in a sexual encounter refuse to wear condoms, and while a lot of women would simply say no way, and walk, it's possible that sex was 'paying' for food, or shelter, and the man saying 'no' was something she had no control over.

Honestly, I can't. That poor girl.

Also, Yuzwenko said, no one took proactive steps to help the girl until she was labelled a criminal.

The agreed statement of facts also stated that the girl's doctors instructed her to use condoms for sexual activity. Kvill disputed whether the girl would have any control over that. "It is equally, if not more, likely that the decision was made by the male partner," the judge said.

Soon after the two males were interviewed by police, the girl's name and picture were released to the media by permission of a court order.

In their warning to the public, police said the girl was a danger to public health.

Jesus fucking Christ. That poor girl. I hope she gets the support and care she needs. But her living with her family might not be the best thing for her. She was homeless for a reason, I hope the family she's staying with is good to and for her.

Having sex without telling her partner about her condition or/and without using protection wasn't a good decision.
But to release her photo and identity to the press is off limit.
What next, make her wear a distinctive sign on her clothing?
Oh wait...

Sorry for editing so much my brain is half asleep
