Seriously.

All of Trader Joe's Thanksgiving turkeys are not only kosher but Glatt kosher, which I've been told is somehow more stringent than regular kosher. I don't think anyone thinks that halakha is being "forced" on them when they eat TJ's turkey.

As long as they don't figure out that they could get non-halal turkey by sacrificing it to their god (Ares, most likely) and killing it in the most painful way possible.

Halal is a relatively painless means of butchering, using a sharp knife to cut the animal's throat...how is that anymore vicious and gruesome compared to how we slaughter animals in the West?

The halal method of slaughtering looks pretty much exactly the same as the kosher method, with the exception of the shochet.
