Troopergate is all about getting even, not justice
DAN FAGAN

The reason Gov. Palin has abandoned her truth and transparent, open and honest aura with her foolish and obvious coverup and trail of lies is simple. Troopergate is not about trying to get her ex-brother-in-law, trooper ( Read more... )

Alaskans can relate to and understand the governor going around, above or outside the law to do something about a rogue cop she believes a danger to the public.

Yes, but she's not just a governor anymore. She's running for VP. That makes all of this important.

Independent investigator Steve Branchflower testified recently he believes someone in the governor's office tried to block Wooten's workers' compensation injury benefits. [...] The very file that includes pictures, taken by none other than Todd Palin, of Wooten riding a snowmachine trying to prove the trooper was not injured.

Wow. That's pretty despicable.

And yet there are those among us who think this weasel is still qualified to be VP... not with valid assertions to back that claim of course... *sneers*

This woman is a joke. I'm insulted that she was picked, because McCain doesn't care about her policies; she's just a mascot.

So, aside from the lack of fact sources in the story, and ignoring the obvious spin I have a few questions ( ... )

First off, what is "MSM"? Secondly, I think there are way more things to attack Palin on than just this investigation - her lie about the Bridge to Nowhere, her backwards stance on women's issues (she's anti-choice and made rape victims pay for rape kits in her hometown), the fact she doesn't believe in evolution, the fact she has zero foreign policy experience... trust me, there's plenty besides Troopergate.

I'm involved in a worker's comp case myself, and I can say with confidence that Gov. Schwarzenegger isn't personally overseeing my case, nor would he be if I worked for the state. And if I were a family member he had a dispute with, he wouldn't be foolish enough to get involved. I don't even like him, but I think he's professional enough not to want to open himself up to the ensuing controversy ( ... )
