This is so wrong, in so many ways. Wars are being fought over resources, the price of oil is going up, and various countries were worried when China decided to limit the amount of rare earth they would export. Just... NO.

We need to stop electing these hardcore Christian Republicans (Michelle Bachmann).

Also, don't compare the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki to coal mining. Even if these cities recovered infrastructure and are livable, they will never get over the atrocities and suffering they faced back during the war.

Go fuck yourself Mike Beard.

Not to trivialize what happened to Hiroshima and Nagasaki, but in some ways mountaintop-removal coal mining creates more permanent damage to the environment than air-burst nuclear explosions. There are mountains in Appalachia that are literally not fucking there anymore.

Normally when people suffer from delusions that endanger themselves or others, they are involuntarily committed to a hospital.

At what point can we send mental health professionals to take these people away? I mean, if a person is having a manic episode and running around with a can of gasoline threatening to set themselves and everyone around them on fire, we realize that they need some help and try to get it for them.

Fundamentalist Christians? They're suffering from a delusion that sometimes makes them want to mess up the entire country. Shouldn't this pass the test?
