Senator Jim Webb announces retirement plans

WASHINGTON - Democratic Sen. Jim Webb of Virginia announced plans to retire at the end of his term, deepening the challenge to his party as it struggles to maintain a majority in 2012 elections.

I hope Tom Perriello will run. I'm convinced he could win.

I'm not all that upset Webb is retiring but FUUUU to George Allen. Do Not Want.

I'm not surprised. He seems to really hate the Washington culture... not that I can blame him.

I still respect him a lot. He is conservative on a lot of issues but at least he's principled.

BOUCHER FOR SENATE!!

He's conservative enough to win "real Virginia" but liberal enough to have actual common sense.

Also I miss him. ;.;
