Senator Jim Webb announces retirement plans

WASHINGTON - Democratic Sen. Jim Webb of Virginia announced plans to retire at the end of his term, deepening the challenge to his party as it struggles to maintain a majority in 2012 elections.

I hope Tom Perriello will run. I'm convinced he could win.

I'm not all that upset Webb is retiring but FUUUU to George Allen. Do Not Want.

I have a feeling Obama will be calling Perriello for a little chat, if he hasn't already. The White House loved his ass when he was a rep.
