Her recovery is nothing short of miraculous. Now that it looks like there may be a chance of her going back to a normal life; does anyone know if her appearance is going to be affected?

Does it matter? Seriously? She's making a fantastic recovery - she's lucky to be alive. I don't think her appearance being affected will be that big a concern to someone as passionate about her work as this lady.

Which is why it is way less important than her recovery. I was just curious.

Is he saying what a lot of other people are holding in their hearts? If so, that's a problem.

So if he says things like that, he's saying what a lot of other people are holding in their hearts, but when YOU say it, OMG YOU GUYS THAT'S SOOO NOT WHAT I MEANT!!!

And you don't have PTSD to fall back on.

(Also, his next-door neighbor saying he "acted odd sometimes" made me side-eye. We ALL act odd sometimes. And his response to Fuller's question about voting, while a perfectly acceptable and understandable answer, could easily have come out in a way that sounded as if it were effectively ending the conversation right there and then.)

"And I wonder, if he (Fuller) is crazy or is he the canary in a coal mine? Is he saying what a lot of other people are holding in their hearts? If so, that's a problem."
Oh, I see. *rolls eyes*

Seriously. My Canadian coworkers are still WTF about it and we all make sure our library doesn't use servers based in the US for that reason.

If anything, some of these militant Tea Party people have been the canaries.

I do think it's sad though. He got shot and now he's being checked out for his mental health. What a strange turn around.

I hope the Congresswoman keeps doing well.
