You know I was watching a rerun of Ugly Betty last night and Betty took her nephew, Justin, to a dance at his school and when she told her how nice the gym looked he said "It is like putting lipstick on a pig."

I snorted my Diet Coke when I heard that and laughed since gee that isn't an expression used a lot or anything. /sarcasm

because the recent Ugly Betty episode was filmed barely a week/two weeks ago.

Sounds like McCain and Palin are the ones crying to me, bb. And even their BFFs are getting sick of it. :D

Crying? They're the ones surging ahead in the polls. Or haven't you heard?

Ohhhh, I was unaware that polls determine election results. Are these polls adjusted to reflect the electoral college?

It would have been funnier if Huckabee had said, "Mitt has more positions than a porn star."

Yeah, "more positions than an underaged Chinese gymnast" really creeps me out. I mean, I know what he was trying to say, but it just comes across really icky...

How come no one ever talks about how the Senate repukes are holding the Oil Speculation bill hostage because they want offshore drilling. Passing the Speculation bill that has been up for a vote since July 15th would IMMEDIATELY bring down the price of oil. The House passed it ten to one. Offshore drilling is ten years away at best and will only reduce prices by .02.
