Can Bibi please get the fuck out of office and can someone who is not a crazy jackass please win an election and roll back these dumbfuck policies so I can totally chill out in Haifa and Eilat and not feel all bad that I'm vacationing in what America will become if the Tea Party has its way, except with less Jews?

This is gross and more fuel for me to continue hating people in general today.

Also, OP, your automatic association of xenophobia/right wing attitudes with illiteracy/bad spelling/netspeak/American Southern accents etc in your subject lines was sort of funny the first time, but after the zillions of repetitions you've given it it's now coming off as pretty offensive in itself (and I say that as someone who's on the lefty side of politics and lives nowhere near the South). This post just highlights it- "they're Israeli, but they're being racist asshats, so let's make them sound like dumb American hicks because CLEARLY THAT IS WHAT ALL RACIST ASSHATS SOUND LIKE." It's not helping with any greater message of understanding or tolerance; you're just slapping an easy and very American-point-of-view "them" label that makes it easy to just laugh and think "oh, they're so stupid". What the Israeli government is doing is wrong, but can't that be discussed here without using stereotyping?

"This is a tangible threat to the Jewish and democratic character of the state of Israel," he said.

I don't get how it's a threat to the democratic nature of a state that is only democratic when compared to its neighbors. As for the Jewish nature of the country, changing that is not a bad thing. Theocracy is never good, regardless of the religion in charge. Maybe a less explicitly Jewish state would be able to find peace with itself and its neighbors.
