I think it's lame that women still aren't in combat roles. I have the utmost respect for them though and I used to consider going into the military but I have the worst knee/leg problems for an otherwise healthy girl and I have a guy that I just could not leave.

Yes, knee problems are why my sister in law left the aussie army. Unfortunately they also drew out the leaving process and made it difficult for her.

I'm sorry, that really sucks. :( There are some civilian jobs maybe? I'm actually trying to apply for a Navy civilian intelligence job.. if I ever bother to finish the application.

Yeah, all I can think of here is Lavena Johnson and all the other women like her. Start actually treating these women like human beings and maybe I'll take this campaign seriously.

I do like the slogan "There are no female marines. Only marines." but it would be nicer if it was actually sort of true :[
