True. But at least the rest of them can walk. The ones that have to be carried get the prop treatment even worse just because of the carrying. Trig, especially, because now that he's bigger and pudgier she seems completely incapable of holding him like a person rather than like an overly large sack of cornmeal.

I can't recall ever seeing her look into Trig's eyes. I know it's unfair of me to assume she never does so, but I was watching some parents with their babies today and they couldn't seem to keep their eyes off their kids. She's always looking at the camera, when she isn't handing him off to someone else.
