I hate this "men will be men" bullshit. Why should there be allowances for men and their helpless dicks or whatever? It just takes the onus off of them and puts it on the women just for being there.

Fuck that.

I always was annoyed by Elisabeth Haaselbeck (sp?)... she's such a vapid twit. I just want to bitchslap the dumb out of her!

I would like to know how asking America to pay no attention to Fox News = McCarthyism. O.o

Censorship
McCarthyism

....you keep using these words. I do not think they mean what you think they mean.

People who watch Fox and believe their garbage will continue to do so. I really wish the White House would have left it alone. Because now Fox is playing they "we told you so" card as though the administration as something to hide.

As my aunt, the bible, and a fortune cookie once told me, don't argue with a fool.

Best policy: ignore everything FauxNews "reports", assign them rusty folding chairs in the back row of the WH press room... and never, I mean NEVER, recognize them for a question.

I don't know why they're bothering with this. You ignore assholes, not give them the attention they're looking for.

Ah, so that's why there was this distinctive odor of bullshit in the air today. It makes so much sense now.

Remember when people found stock footage of McCarthy too ridiculously over the top and complained that his "actor" was crazy? I get the feeling that a couple generations from now, people will be pointing to Elisabeth, Glenn Beck, Orly Taitz, Fox News, and all the other nutjobs and saying the same exact thing. Actually, for that matter, they do that now, don't they?

Why is it that crazy, especially in conjunction with history, is doomed to repeat itself? (Rhetorically speaking, since I get the feeling we all know why.)

I think the stock footage was from previews/test audiences of George Clooney's "Good Night and Good Luck", which was an awesome film ♥

David Strathairn (Murrow) was sooooooo good in that. I wish he was in more movies.
