Jack, Whether you want to admit it or not, Bush and Cheney kept me and my family safe from terrorists for 7 years.

Is it wrong that for once I'm thrilled one of them noticed that they didn't keep us safe from terrorists that first year? They always seem to forget that, or at least forgive Bush and co. for it because they'd only been in charge for nine months back then while they've been complaining that we're going to get bombed any minute now and it'll be all Obama's fault since inauguration day.

Now the very people who kept us safe are the subject of an Obama-instigated “witch hunt.” And why? Because we they weren’t very nice to some terrorists who were planning to kill us.

And I still wonder how these Bush/Cheney apologists would react if they found out that our own soldiers were being subjected to that same treatment while in the custody of a foreign government or terrorist group after being captured in a war zone. They'd be shouting about TORTURE from the bloody rafters, I'd wager, and yet you could simply say "they weren't very nice to our soldiers who came to kill them".

Btw, I'm now using the term "Bush/Cheney apologists" as much as humanly possible to describe these people. I encourage everyone to steal it and use it *everywhere*. ;p
