I keep missing the one arm. I'm like, "Ooh, pretty lady!"

I have a friend with one arm, and sometimes I'll see someone in the distance that looks like him, and as I get closer I think, "No, he's too tall, and his hair is a little different." Then I realize that this guys has both arms. Then I feel really stupid.

Also, it "forced" him to talk to his kid about disabilities? Oh my god, really? What if the kid makes friends with a disabled child? What the hell is he going to do then? Sir, I assure you that your child will encounter someone with a disability or deformity at some point in his life.

I have no problem with people who have disabilities. At secondary school, there were around four wheelchair bound students and you know what, they were treated just the same like everyone else. I also had conversations with them too.

This proves that parents can be ignorant too, not only children. How else are meant to be educated on life?

I was actually asking what the dad was going to do; I guess I phrased it badly. Personally, I don't think any child is innately discriminatory, they just learn it from their parents.

Heaven forbid that disabled people appear in public, like they have rights or something!

In one chat room, a father lamented that Burnell being on the show forced him to have conversations with his child about disabilities.

*twitches* I hope I don't turn into such a raging twatwaffle when I have kids.

I have just added "twatwaffle" to "douchecanoe" for my favorite insults from ONTD this week. This place is such a learning experience. :D
