I read a book recently by a freelance journalist/documentary maker who reported from Iraq over the last five years and he said he saw evidence of the use of white phosphorous there as well. It is horrific. :/

What is the point? People need to cut this petty shit out and quit fighting over a freaking PIECE OF LAND. Maybe I don't understand this whole conflict and the history of it, but this is ridiculous. That's one thing Catholics got right: making Vatican City its only country. Maybe if all the main holy cities were their own countries, this kind of stuff wouldn't happen.
