Hahaha, my mom is one of those "I'm {insert fraction here) Cherokee!" people. Whenever she throws that out I just say "And so is EVERYONE ELSE. We're also mostly german and dutch but ya never say anything about that!"

Seriously, have these people never heard of the plethora of other tribes? It's usually Cherokee I see mentioned, though every now and then you'll see a Sioux or Apache thrown in for variety. Come on people--if you're going to make up a native ancestry, at least be creative about it.
