Hey, you have more "street cred" to talk about racism than Palin does if your family is recent to this country. Remember "No Irish need apply?" And if your family remembered what it was like in Ireland during the worst of the Troubles, they knew what it was like to be hated for their nationality/how they looked/their religion. My g-parents came over during that time and were involved in the Irish Civil War
