it helped out a LOT that McConnell was brazen enough to want to slash Medicare and Medicaid in front of two states that are heavily dependent upon Medicaid expansion. That alone had West Virginia and Alaska into the "hell no" category
I have to wonder what would have happened if he'd gotten it through and gone back to Kentucky. There may or may not have been a reckoning once he stopped by the old homestead.
But if the Rs can't even be arsed to come up with a halfway decent ruse of a plan in six months, god help us hen we hit Ye Old Terrifying Debt Ceiling Drama.
Once they give up on this mess maybe they'll work on actually fixing the ACA to make it better with support from both sides....I know I'm dreaming but it's still what I want them to do.
