Ugh, I hope that no one in the "rich businesspeople who have never run for anything before" category actually tries. Please keep Mark Zuckerberg away from any and all politics.

Yeah, I am definitely not a fan of "rich businesspeople who have never run for anything before." I don't personally know of any success stories about people with that background being a big success in high level public office. (Not saying there aren’t any, just that I don’t know about them; if anyone does know of any,  then by all means, please share.) The two people I am most familiar with who fit that description are the dumpster fire known as potus no. 45, and the current governor of my state, Bruce Rauner, who is a nightmare in his own right. Imo, the skill set needed to be a successful potus or governor is completly different from the skill set that makes someone successful in the business world. There is some overlap, but it's minimal. Also, people who have come up through serving in their state legislature, congress, etc., acquire an understanding of how government works, how laws get passed, etc., that no amount of corporate business experience can make up for.

The "rich business people" category made me shudder, I have to admit. (Especially Zuckerberg.)
