Anyone in the DNC who thinks Tim Kaine (or honestly anyone closely tied to the Clintons) would have a snowball's chance in 2020 is just proof how out of touch the DNC is.

Bad news for Terry McAuliffe too. Which... ehhn. I like Tim Kaine better. He ain't my favorite but at least he can manage a state and a city.

i don't see Mark Warner. Depending on how the *~Russia scandal*~ plays out in the Senate expect him to be floated big time.

In teh meantime I am gonna build a de-aging machine for Joey B. So I know he will be safe and healthy.

Purely from a marketing standpoint, Mark Cuban might stand a chance of getting the Dems into the White House. But I think that the next 2 years are going to give us some better choices, as we see who is capable of taking on the Republicans. I have to wonder if Castro pulling out of consideration for the Senate race in Texas isn't in preparation to take on Trump directly.

I'd vote for Warren most easily out of the top five or so available options. Tim Kaine would have to be a fool to run and the DNC would have to be even more foolish to pick him.

Also though it is only 2017, and as slow as they move progress wise popularity can change swiftly enough in politics. I don't think anyone expected Donald Trump to be leading the Republican Party in 2013. I don't think many expected Bernie Sanders to be considered the face of (just Economic, really) grassroots progress of the democratic party, either. But here we are.
