I wish they would port that (FFXII) to PC already. They've put everything else on Steam except that one (and 15, obv).
Then again, with my horrible track record when it comes to Final Fantasy games, I'd probably start it but never finish it, just like I did with 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 10, 13.
They're coming out with a HD version for the PS4 which is the whole reason I got that console. 12 is about the ONLY one I routinely play because it's like... actual fantasy instead of the weird Jrock-steampunk-Shamalan convoluted narrative. And it has a ton of stuff to do in it.
I got close to finishing 8 and played about two hours into 10 and 13 and decided I was bored stupid. I think I made it a whole day on 15 before I decided I was bored and my friend is guilt-tripping me about finishing it.
Dear _p, why is it so hard to give away FREE STUFF? I have to have everything out of my apartment tonight; I am checking into a hotel this afternoon. Tomorrow is the handover date and I still have no takers for my mattress, several blankets and pillows, rugs etc. Two people could sleep in warmth with the stuff I have, and I will legit cry if I have to put it on the street and let it get pissed on and rained on while I know people in this city are homeless and living in refugee camps.
Why do I have to feel so awkward posting fitness stuff on my Facebook? I have friends that run and do fitness stuff and I like to keep up with them. I find it inspiring. I don't dwell on details and numbers, just a quick update. My brother and I communicate more this way than any other. It's our way of bonding, I guess, and giving that our family deals with severe depression, exercise and the achievement of doing anything highly medicinal.
Then someone posted something ranting about 'annoying people' who post about their runs. Is it any better to post pictures that are not anything more than, "HEY I'm getting DRUNK with my FRIENDS... At A BAR!" Um, congratulations?
Also, I've come a loooong fucking way. My latest injury is FINALLY letting up and i just signed up for my first 5K. I'll have to take off work for it which means loosing $$ but .. I'm so excited and nervous!
Imo, people who complain about fitness posts are usually defensive snot bags who know they aren't doing enough to take care of their own bodies and resent anyone who is. Don't let them spoil your fun, and good luck with that 5K!
I mean, plenty of people don't care about reading Someone's fitness posts, but they just quietly cruise on by (as they would any post on any subject that doesn't interest them).
Anyone who actively comments with snide/disapproving/mean/whatever posts about them (or does the passive aggressive "I'll make a post about how much I hate such posts 20 seconds after reading Bob's post on it" posting) -- yep, they're the ones who simply resent that the person is doing more to be fit than they are.
