Lbr, Clinton going down in flames would NOT = "justice for Bernie." It would = "victory for the cheetoh-faced baboon." Which wouldn't do Bernie or anyone else in this country one damned bit of good.

The idea of that ass-faced, xenophobic, misogynistic, islamophobic, stupid, grotesquely unprepared and unqualified man-baby getting elected is NOT a laughing matter, no mattter how much you hate Clinton.

If you're just joking, okay, whatever. I don't honestly understand how anyone CAN joke about something that terrifying, but I guess that's just me.

HRC's not going down in flames, so I wouldn't worry about that too much.

if you actually cared about Bernie's message, you would listen to him when he says that a protest vote is a vote for Trump.
and if you really want a viable third party, vote for them in all elections, not just the presidential. canvas, don't just put up a sign in your yard and poo-poo candidates on the internet.

I feel like he was very apolitical about this since I saw that it was Congress who leaked his letter to the media so it's not really his fault? I keep hearing different things about him. I googled why he was appointed to his position in the first place, and it was just praise on how apolitical he was , and now this week there are a bunch of articles about how political he is that idk who to believe anymore. I hope this doesn't affect the election, but the timing of this scandal is horrible.

Yeaaaah I read that it was Jason Chafetz or wtf his name is and I was like... "yep he didn't keep it in his inbox" and I can kind of sort of see Comey's reasoning of "well I said I had everything only I may not and this may or may not be relevant"

also tbqh though... I don't *~think*~ this will affect the election as much? Most people I know just want to get this thing over with so all the outrage and awareness is burned out

Well like anything... I think most of the media craze is for the page hits and the ad revenue more so than actual interest. Like... IDGAF about the emails. I really truly do not because the logistics of *~why*` it was a bad choice are wrapped up in a lot of bylaws and bureaucracy that doesn't indicate misbehavior.... just ineptitude. I am far more interested in how Clinton, like many Baby Boomers, is totally into nation building and America's Divine Right to Police but that doesn't get a lot of discussion bc for the 50 and up crowd that's normal.

But yeah. Clinton will never be trustworthy in the majority of America's eyes even if she had a camera on her jacket pocket hooked up to a live feed 24/7. It's just the natural caginess which I can understand (esp post-90s) but I can't really say it helps her politically.

Shit is getting crazy. Slate posting about an analysis of a Trump server having suspicious communication with Alfa Bank, CNBC reporting that the FBI is looking into Manafort activities (again? don't know if the first investigation ever ended), there's likely a NYT article getting published soon about this since it looks like Slate scooped them so they might have more information.

I bet some of them were planning on holding back these stories until after the election (could be helpful to shut down the "rigged" claims), but Comey went and opened Pandora's box. Reid may not have been bullshitting.

His actions were a violation of the Hatch Act. Federal employees have been fired under this act for far smaller violations.
