Well, not to bring your post down OP, but my god this is a white thing to do.

eh oh well. I promised someone I would make a donut post while I am on a sugar run and it was either this or the salacious news that Chris Christie got offended by Cristie Cremes.

I figured ways to sneak your resume to people who would otherwise toss it in the trash was a bit more positive.

That article has redeemed my good humor, so I'll say yes this is definitely more positive, though it includes less *sarcastic doughnuts.

I think the next article I will look for will include kangaroos somewhow. I haven't done a news story about kangaroos.

OK, this at least gets points for creativity. I've heard the (outdated) advice of going in person to talk to the head honcho for years now, as if they have time for every person looking for work in this economy. But, this is the first time I've heard something like this actually work in the past 15yrs or so. Granted, I'm not sure if donuts for interview is a form of bribery, but, hey, if it works!

Now, wait for the influx of people reading this article and deciding to do the exact same thing. If lots of people do it... well, the reason it worked this time is because it is creative and actively shows it, which is beneficial because creativity is a very desired trait/skill in IT. Copycats won't have the same results.
