Fingers crossed! There's nothing yet about what characters will be involved, so far as I've seen. I'm personally hoping these will be out-of-continuity works and thus allow some love for Obsidian.

Sadly, no, it appears not, though her design does seem to take cues from Wonder Woman.

I say sadly because I thought it actually was Wonder Woman at first, to be clear. I see why the artist would want to focus on a group of civilians, given the context in which the book was created.

Yep! Batwoman, aka Kate Kane, my favourite Bat-superhero. Was military, discharged due to discriminatory homosexual laws, was inspired by Batman's symbol to serve Gotham another way with the help of her military general dad.

The J.H. Williams III and Greg Rucka penned comics of her were really good.
