MAC's new Trans 102 series is an effort to raise awareness for trans issues. The first video features Jen Richards of I Am Cait fame alongside 40+ transgender and gender non-conforming individuals. The company is also raising a million dollars for organizations that benefit the trans community.

Who would have thought the NBA would be such an ally to the transgender community? Good for them. I hope they continue to put the screws to McCrory and the NCGA, and I truly hope they move the game.

The changes don't just not go far enough, they actually compound the stupid and make things worse in some ways, as the article I posted a day or two ago makes clear.

After all the outrage provoked by that law, you'd think they might realize that they need to actually inform themselves better before trying again, bot oh noooo, that'd be too logical for these bozos.

It's all so ludicrously ridiculous that it would almost   be comical if the issues involved weren't so frigging deadly serious.

Btw, North Carolina is at risk for natural disasters: mud slides, flooding, hurricanes, even zika is a potential threat. Hurricane season is around the corner, and it's so stupid to waste half a million dollars of funds we may need for disaster relief on defending an indefensible, discriminatory piece of shit law
