there are a lot of things to hate about presidential election years, but I think the thing I hate the most is whatever bigot-targeted social issue is being used to make sure horrible people flock to the polls

and this bathroom police shit is the worst one yet

My local school board threw a fit about it at its last meeting. It hasn't done anything yet but plans to try and ~fight it~.

Some jerkface in Michigan (too lazy to look up his name, which I cant remember at the moment) just introduced a bill that would ban transgender students from using the bathroom of their choice. Knowing our legislature and our governor, I do not expect good things to come of this.
