These people are EVIL. Seriously-- one of the no-go areas for restrictions on student rights is peeing. Got a kid that cuts class and vandalizes everything in sight? Too bad, if they ask to use the restroom you have to let them. But apparently in these states, if you have a good kid, never done anything wrong, totally trustworthy, whose biology doesn't match their identity, they don't get to use the bathroom in peace. Tell me how I'm supposed to teach calculus to a kid who's anxious about what to do if they have to pee.

ALL the research shows that when students' basic needs aren't met, learning is seriously compromised. High school is already hard enough with worrying about grades, college admissions, bullying, sex, hormones, cliques, friend drama, activities, time management. We educators owe our students at the MINIMUM a safe space for our students to learn.

This is like "storm" a few years ago about gay people in the same room as straights and how conservatives worried that the some gay guy might want to touch there wee-wee while they are changing. This is a non-issue made up to try and install fear in people.
