lol I think it's because my first sex toy I ever bought was a rabbit style which vibrated AND twisted and did so much that a dildo seems so underwhelming to me. I've never bought one and I'm sure they have their uses but I believe in higher technology lmfao

So my new job is making stroopwaffel and I'm the only non-Dutch employee atm lol. I had a meeting with the owners today and it was very informal but I felt awkward lol, I need to get better at small talk.

ITS SO GOOD. I'll be making the small pre-packaged ones but the best ones are huge and made fresh + some lemon zest in the caramel (which we also sell at farmers markets). oh my god. so good.

Oh gosh, I love stroopwafel. The local co-op sells Shady Maple Farms stroopwafels and I know it's so not the same, but I think it's the best I can get here.

ontd_crime afaik never took off and hasn't been updated since 2012. would the mods be amenable to including some crime stories as passable in this comm? I mean the justice system is really impossible to divorce from the political system.

well there's a story out of my family's hometown about a cold case that was solved a few years ago, but the new county prosecutor has a grudge against the old country prosecutor and is trying to get the conviction overturned to make a national name for himself in his reelection year. idk, the post would take some gathering together and would probably teeter on being an ontd_p original because one of my sources is the former mayor of the town (who is, lol, my uncle) but if I made a post I would put together more sources than just "my friend with a bike" lmao
