Funnily enough, the other two bakeries who got into hot water for refusing to bake for a same sex wedding actually don't even look that good based on their online galleries. People pay for any old crap I guess, but you'd think they'd have standards when it comes to one of the most important day of their lives?

The bakery who refused to bake for bigots looks a lot more professional.

I'd be willing to bet that their lawsuit is being handled by lawyers from one of the usual suspect wingnut legal foundations.

Wait, so the guy could still get a cake (so he wasn't refused service) he just couldn't get it with hateful messages on it?

That's not like the other cases....

Pretty sure this guy wanted his bigotry cake just to file this case.

Exactly. She even offered to sell him the extra icing so he could do the writing himself (or get someone to do it). NOT the same thing at all!

This whole case is based on nothing but conservative/evangelical butthurt.

I have to profess a curiosity as to what exactly these cakes would've been for. Were they going to be given out LGBT groups as expensive anti-gifts? Were they going to have a party for the sole purpose of getting together and talking about how much they hate gay people? Do they have some weekly after-church thing and that week's theme was discrimination?

I just can't fathom why someone would want to commission a cake like that.

as someone said above, most likely because he was looking for a chance to sue.

It was entrapment. Really, really ham-handed entrapment. I'd be surprised if there's a judge in the country who wouldn't throw this blatantly litigious bullshit right out.

I wish I were a judge. I would smack this asshole with a huge fine for wasting the court's time so fast . . .
