Well, it's a pretty small library, so yeah. Hehe.

While pointing out the area of the library in question on Thursday, Cohn said the library’s collection also includes one of the most banned books in the world - the Holy Bible.

I burst out laughing at that.

And oh, Phillip Missick? You're a fucking idiot. You don't get to decide what books people read and what they shouldn't. For instance, as much as I hate the Twilight series, even I wouldn't support banning those. Because at the end of the day, people should be free to read whatever they want to read.

Exactly. I would rather kids not read Twilight because it's crap, not because the book's not allowed to be on the shelves.

I used to work for a company which was trying to break into the children's textbook market. A big part of that, at least at the time, was trying to get your books past the racist milleniallist sexist homophobic reactionary asshole who took over the Texas schoolbook buying process for decades ( ... )

This is dark. There's a sexual element. You have creatures that aren't human. I think it's dangerous for our kids.

Has Missick checked out the bible lately?

The only demonic thing about Dobby was how fucking annoying the thing was. Even moreso in the movies.

Lol--OT, but I actually found him more annoying in the books, just because he was there so much more! But the movie Dobby was a more annoying character, that makes any sense--I always felt like he was one character that didn't translate well on screen--or the filmmakers didn't capture him properly--or something. Anyway, something about him always kind of...grated on me.
