The reason I ask is because I had heard stories that back in the day when Houston won them everyone got a day off or something. Of course, this is pre-internet and I was halfway around the world so who knows if that information was even accurate.

Eat it straight is awesome, but it also works really well as condiment in sandwich wraps as well. it's also sticky, so if your wraps have a tendency to unroll or spill contents, it works real well to hold them together.
Online game sales started up and I'm gonna be out of the country for the majority of them. GOG's been going for a few days, Steam is supposed to start on the 19th...
(Also, if anyone here is in the UK, apparently on the 18th Currys/PC World is stated to be doing a sale on Steam Wallet Cards -- buy two £20 for £30, an effective discount of 25%. Given the Steam sales starting on the 19th, this could be a good opportunity to get/top up Wallet balances.)
In other news, waiting on a job interview (place apparently loves me and feels I'd fit in well, but they're tossing me between departments to see just where I'd fit. Won't have the interview until I get back, and my husband fully expects I'll have a solo interview).
I'm not even sure what I'm going to do for Steam sales. At the moment the only game that I'm looking to get is the South Park one, though I have about 50 on my wishlist.
But even then, I haven't really gotten around to playing anything since I finished AC4 and that was a good 5 or 6 months ago.
aughhhhhhhhh why is it so hard to sit down and play video games :(
I've got way too many games in my backlog as well -- doesn't help that I only really started getting back into PC gaming a year ago, so I got a whole bunch of new (to me) games through bundles and the like. A fair few of them are sandbox so not really a game I can 'finish', but still.
Most of the games I have on my wishlist are reasonably new releases (within the last six months or so) and I'm barganing with myself that I'm not to buy anything unless it's on a 75% sale. Given the newness of the releases, that puts about four games that could reach that discount.
