Just look at that picture! The nudity, the shock and horror of it! Compare it to all those fully-dressed women you can see on billboards everywhere around you!

(Kidding, that picture is absolutely SFW, because you can't even see anything. I've generally found that to be true when I see nursing mothers in public; the only way you can spot something you might not want to see is by staring really intently from specific angles, which any person raised with a bit of decency simply won't do.)

Look at that harlot, eating and acting like a person in public. She should know mothers are meant to be hidden away and we must never acknowledge that breasts can be anything but sexual! It's not like they were made to feed babies, you know, that's totally those evil women perverting their God-given reason for being, which is to be sexually attractive to men at all times!

Don't forget, it's only ok if guys are exposed, not women.

You know, I was expecting a picture of a woman wearing really tight clothes with a baby swinging from each nipple. Not that . . . almost TOO modest picture of a woman very discreetly feeding her child. Jesus. Not to mention the person who originally posted that really needs to learn the meaning of the word "tramp" because that's NOT IT.

I'm reminded of going to a grad school function where some students and professors gathered together for an evening and the chair of the English department brought his wife and infant son, and I was sitting on a couch across from her and it literally took me a full minute to realize she'd started breastfeeding her son. She was that cool and subtle about it and no one batted an eye.

My dad walked in on my feeding my daughter and didn't even notice until he'd been talking to me for about 20 minutes. Even when he figured it out, it wasn't because he saw anything. I'll never get people who are offended by a baby eating in public.

I used to breastfeed my kids in church, and nobody cared. My go-to line is that if breastfeeding is sexual, then bottlefeeding is like whipping out a dildo.

I LOVE that analogy!

Never thought of it that way, but it makes PERFECT sense.

Breast feeding is a beautiful and natural thing. I don't get people who freak out over it. My mom tried breast feeding me and my older siblings but she told us not one of us liked it so she bottle fed is. Turns out me and my older brother were allergic to formula.

Tramp? I don't see any grey dog with a fondness for spaghetti and spaniels in that picture... am I missing something?
