Typical narcissist, blame everyone but himself. He didn't lose custody because he physically abused abused his young child, he lost it because of feminists and anyone else who have the temerity to think and say that women should have equal rights to men.

All he had done, he said, was smack his 4-year-old daughter and bloody her mouth after she licked his hand as he was putting her to bed.

Well I stopped here. This is all I needed to know.

For licking his hand.

Gosh, it's a pity nobody could have seen he had a tendency to over-react or anything!

Possible over share and anecdata, but I hear stories like this and can't help but think of a family member who fits the MRA profile to a T, as well as being abusive and narcissistic. He flipped out on his wife (threatening to not come to the family holiday dinner @ my parents house; telling us *all* to 'fuck off' on Facebook, etc) for her having the gall to ask him to watch the kids for 10 minutes while she took a shower. I mean, how dare she ask him to tear himself away from his XBox One for a moment to watch the kids.

yep. Pretty much what I thought too.

I get that men might even SEE things as an attack on their percieved power, but the horrible reality is, its a pedestal they were never supposed to be on in the first place, and reacting with such rage and tantrums doesn't sell the image of the good, upstanding loving partner that women are probably going to want or need.

i know so many guys who've simply skipped out on their partner and kid.

It strikes me that you have never really been held to account for any of your actions in life. It is quite likely that the concept of complete, selfless accountability is just completely foreign to you.

In a lengthy “Last Statement,” which arrived posthumously at the Keene Sentinel, Tom Ball told his story. All he had done, he said, was smack his 4-year-old daughter and bloody her mouth after she licked his hand as he was putting her to bed. Feminist-crafted anti-domestic violence legislation did the rest.

Welp, lost all my sympathy for you there.

Can you imagine what he would've done if she'd actually misbehaved? It isn't worth thinking about. *shudder*
