My college is like this. We had three alarms in one morning. People, it's honestly just easier to study. The alarms only delay things by 30 min.

But then I gotta wonder about the girl in my university biology class who posted on the class online blackboard: so "what's on the final? I haven't gone to any of the lectures!"

My biggest problem with fake calls like these, is that people are less likely to take a threat serious, even when it is real.

I mean, we've had a couple of false fire alarms here in the appartment building I live in, and by now, some people don't even bother to come down anymore when there's another, especially around four in the morning.
Which could end up being really dangerous, if there ever is a real fire.

I tried to find a Kirk one, just to round out the set, but he evidently wasn't much of a facepalmer, lol. Fortunately Mr. Spock was available to take his place with an epic side eye!

He does a half facepalm in The Voyager Home when he realizes Spock's climbed into the whale tank.

This is a good excuse to spend my entire holiday re-watching TOS to find a Kirk facepalm.

We got fake bomb threats at my school between once a semester and once a year, at which point the building threatened and buildings in the immediate area would be evacuated. I don't remember a single one panning out. We did have a genuine incident with a shooter on campus, though -- that one was real. (He fired a few shots into nothing, went into the library, and killed himself. Classes resumed the next day ( ... )
