There's a group of Hindus from, i think, California? That have also applied to put up a statue. I just read about it this morning.

I'm onboard with this.

on a side note, a loooooong time ago I read the Satanic Bible (is that what it's called? I forget) and found that it seemed mostly a manifesto for hedonism. My 14 year old self was disappointed.

I think the Temple of Satan is a relatively new group, separate from the Church of Satan. The guy who founded the Church of Satan wrote the Satanic Bible, and yeah, his philosophy is basically all about hedonism.
