Eh. I remember him when he was a crusading liberal consumer reporter on local television in NY. He almost always called a government agency to crack down on the big bad corporations if he couldn't get them to cave by putting them on TV.

Stossel is a libertarian like Glenn Reynolds is - so big government conservatives will pay them in return for the luxury of having someone nominally to the left of them on salary who salivates every time they ring a bell.

You know what, IDGAF if someone I give money to does use it for drugs or alcohol. What I give to a homeless person is my business, what they use it for is their business.

You get to go home Stossel, and I bet your home is pretty nice. A homeless person gets to go to a shelter or sleep where ever they can. How about you spend a week living on the street and sleep under a highway overpass and then tell us how much fun it is.
